What is Palmers Fish and Chips?

In the early 1900s, the Palmer family embarked on their journey in the fish and chips industry, a tradition that continues to this day. In 1958, Bernard Palmer and his son Clive established their first family business in Market Street, Yeovil. John Palmer, the youngest son, later joined as a partner in 1970 after balancing part-time work with his carpentry training. Over time, Palmer’s expanded to three shops, including outlets on St. John’s Road and South Street. Facing challenges with town development and parking in the 1990s, the family pursued a larger and more accessible location, culminating in the opening of their Palmers Fish and Chips Bunford Lane premises in 1998. Despite the hurdles, the new establishment thrived, thanks to unwavering support from both family members and loyal customers.

In September 2023, Ben from Palmer’s Fish and Chips approached TP Creates to capture photos of their restaurant and delectable dishes to enhance the upcoming launch of their new website, which we were concurrently developing. We meticulously photographed both the interior and exterior of the establishment, ensuring to showcase its inviting ambiance. Additionally, we had the pleasure of capturing mouthwatering images of their food and beverages, indulging in some culinary delights ourselves along the way! Fast forward to February 2024, we were once again called upon to photograph the newly refurbished Palmer’s Fish and Chips restaurant, ensuring their online presence remained as vibrant as their establishment.

Website Design

Website design for Palmers Fish and Chips, based in Yeovil, Somerset

The process of designing and building the website commenced in June and reached its culmination with the launch in September 2023. The comprehensive website features an array of functionalities, including a succinct yet informative history of the restaurant, a user-friendly contact us page for seamless communication, an extensive FAQ section to address common inquiries, and convenient online versions of the menu for patrons to peruse at their leisure.
